Shocking!
Terrible!
How could this happen?!
How can those liberals do things like this to our adorable, innocent little children!? Have they no shame?!
These are some of the things we think, say, and often hear from others as we witness our American culture and civilization flushing itself down the drain in increasingly dramatic fashion right before our “shocked and horrified” little eyes.
Even so, surprise is the last thing we should be thinking, feeling or spouting off about as we watch everything from “Transgender” Kindergarten in American government schools to U.S. Army cadets in high heels become the new normal in America. If we have a biblical worldview, we must expect these things, and the much worse that will soon come apart from repentance. Only the biblically illiterate should be surprised at what America has become over the past 100 years or so.
As for “those liberals” being the problem here or the ones who ought to be ashamed of themselves, well…yes, they are a problem and they certainly ought to be ashamed unto repentance, but how much more so the professing Christians – particularly those in pulpits – who have not clearly and faithfully applied the Gospel of Christ the King to the vital, culture-shaping realm of children’s education? And what about the professing Christian parents in America who even now continue to feed their little children to the beast of the anti-Christian American State?
Where is their shame?
Well…not often anywhere to be found and, more often than not, passed on in favor of talking about and dwelling on “those liberals” who are supposedly the “real problem”.
Pride, pride, pride…professing “conservative Christians” tend to be level ten masters of American Pride, justification, and rationalization for sin. So here we are…
Once a culture embraces the satanic approach to the pursuit of knowledge as the foundation of its “education” system, anything goes…and it will. (See also: The God of Government “Education”)
Once a culture makes the State (even the American State) its god in practice, anything goes…and it will.
The hope here is that by chronicling the flagrant rebellion of American culture against the one true God of creation, the very God being mocked and rebelled against might by His grace use these warnings to convict us unto repentance and move His true, repentant people into a state of ongoing productive Christ-centered restoration.
To that end, WND recently reported in Lesbian Teaches Being ‘Gay’ In Classroom:
A lesbian teacher has boasted of using her classroom to instruct children as young as kindergarten on being “gay.”
“And I started in kindergarten,” said Pam Strong. “What a great place to start. It was where I was teaching. So, I was the most comfortable there.”
The article continues:
She explains how one student was provoked by her reading of “King and King.”
The student, when she read about the two princes getting “married,” shouted: “They can’t do that! They can’t get married. They’re two boys.”
Strong then brought up her own lesbian lifestyle and promoted it to students.
“I said, you know, we take our kids to the park. I swing them on swings. … We laugh together. We go grocery shopping together. I read to them. I tickle them, sometimes until they scream and laugh and when they cry, I hug them until they stop.”
Another time her sexual preferences arose as part of a classroom conversation a new student, not familiar with her teachings, blurted out, “Oh, my God, I think I’m going to puke,” LifeSite reported.
Strong said she “took the abuse” but noted her other students “were just very, very upset with this kid.”
Her conversations followed.
“Strong told her workshop attendees that her ‘new little friend’ is now a devoted champion of diversity. She boasted how he was the one in her class to count down the days to the pro-homosexual Day of Pink that took place earlier this month. When Strong took a photo of all the children wearing pink shirts in her classroom, she said the boy requested to be in the front,” LifeSite said.
So here we are.
This is the new normal boldly and proudly coming our way.
This is what American government schools are doing to America’s children…children overwhelmingly sent to the State for an anti-Christ “education” by willing professing Christians who attend often very “conservative” Christian churches where this great and consequential sin is left glossed over or ignored completely.
So what now?
What do we do?
Will we repent? (See: Will we repent or will we be destroyed?)
The answer to that question will determine everything about our future.
May God grace His people with the brokenness and repentance necessary to take up His Gospel-fueled Great Commission while there is yet time.
May God help us all to know how to truly love (and really save) America, and may He give us the desire to apply that knowledge on every front of the battlefield in which we’ve been purposefully placed.
