DraculaMarxWerewolf

Before we get to the vampires and werewolves, a word from three invisible men:

Abolition of the family! Even the most radical flare up at this infamous proposal of the Communists. On what foundation is the present family, the bourgeois family, based? On capital, on private gain…

But, you will say, we destroy the most hallowed of relations, when we replace home education by social…

The bourgeois claptrap about the family and education, about the hallowed correlation of parent and child, becomes all the more disgusting, the more, by the action of modern industry, all family ties among the proletarians are torn asunder, and their children transformed into simple articles of commerce and instruments of labour.

– Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, The Communist Manifesto

With rare exceptions, our activists and radicals are products of and rebels against our middle-class society. . . . Our rebels have contemptuously rejected the values and way of life of the middle class.

– Saul Alinsky, author of Rules for Radicals and inspiration to Barack Hussein Obama

A quest for the source material feeding contemporary progressive ideology can lead to many places, but there is one contributing philosophy that towers above all others. While in the Ten Commandments we find ten problems for the driving ideology of the American Democrat Party, we find a philosophically sympathetic set of ideals and principles in the Ten Planks of Communism as defined by Marx and Engels in The Communist Manifesto:

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rent to public purpose.

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the State.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.

10. Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

At the heart of The Communist Manifesto, we are offered these ten prescribed steps towards the destruction of a free enterprise system so that it might be replaced by a structure built upon an omnipotent government and produce a socialist state.  Now before anyone from any place on the political spectrum starts to get riled to the point of compulsory defensiveness, I humbly request that they try to simmer down and remember that there really is no need to take any of this too seriously. Let not your heart be troubled. There’s no need to be upset at any of this. There’s no reason for heartburn or anxiety. There’s no need to worry at all because, you see…

…there are no communists.

How do you tell a communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-communist? It’s someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Just as the average leader of the contemporary American Democrat Party likes to pretend that the devil he serves does not actually exist, so too does the garden variety Democrat activist like to play with the notion that, like werewolves, vampires and middle-class tax cuts from liberal Presidents, communists simply are not real.

They’re a work of fiction.

Use the words communist, socialist or liberal in the presence of an American communist, socialist or liberal and you will elicit a response including any or all of the following:

  1. A dismissive smirk.
  2. An incredulous roll of the eyes.
  3. A wonderfully nervous giggle or laugh.
  4. An angry demand to “see your papers”.

Okay, that last one is at least weeks away from reality, but the first three definitely apply today.

One of the most adorable attributes of the liberal leadership and activist base of the contemporary American Democrat Party is that they have an awe-inspiringly powerful dedication to the creation and preservation of their precious land of make-believe. The bubble-world pseudo-reality in which they live has become so completely severed from objective truth that they have now convinced themselves that they actually have the power to ignore something – anything – out of existence. And as we all know, anything that Osteen-esque just can’t be good.

This whole “Bible thing” is impossibly specific and demanding?

Outta here!

God is getting in the way?

Snap!  *poof*  See ya!

The devil is problematic?

Gone!

Communists and communism have become rightly attached to Marxism?

No sweat! Consider ‘em erased! (Remember: Communists, by nature, just love erasing history.)

Socialists and socialism have become rightly attached to Marxism?

What socialists? *wink*

Liberals and liberalism have become rightly attached to Marxism?

What’s a “liberal”? Never heard of that…

…I’m a progressive.

And here we are! Neat, huh?

What does it say that the biblically submissive Christian core at the base of the political movements opposed to the contemporary American Democrat Party never seeks to separate itself from identification with biblically submissive Christianity, while those spearheading the “progressive” movement seem to blow through intentionally deceptive code names faster than Barack Hussein Obama nationalizes American industries? (Okay, maybe not quite that fast, but you get my meaning.)

Issues of basic honesty aside (which is just where “progressives” like ‘em), what is the goal of such relentless name-changing? What do we know about those who feel compelled in life to pursue a similar approach in life on an individual basis? What does this tell us about their character? What role will character play in our assessment of causes, activists and would-be leaders?

Unfortunately for those who would ignore such matters and seek to impose their land of make-believe ideals upon the rest of us, there are little things that tend to get in the way. Things they haven’t been able to ‘fix’ completely…yet. Things like recorded history, for example. And books. Books like The Communist Manifesto and Rules for Radicals.

The Communist Manifesto was the manifesto of Karl Marx and advocacy of Marxism was the clear goal of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, which was enthusiastically digested and embraced by one Barack Hussein Obama. See how clearly, neatly and completely Karl Marx, Saul Alinsky, Barack Hussein Obama and the contemporary American Democrat Party fit together? When I watch the pieces come together and fit so perfectly – so seamlessly – I cannot help but feel as though, in the best sense, we are witnessing true, good and godly progress.

Communism, socialism, Marxism, Marx, Alinsky, Obama…they’re all real, after all. Their deep and profound connections are real, and the desire of Barack Hussein Obama to bring Marx/Alinsky style “change” to America is real.

Just as the left cannot speak, wish or imagine truth or its author out of existence, so too we cannot afford to pretend that communists are relegated to realm of fiction.

Read Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. Read The Communist Manifesto. Compare the philosophies expressed therein with the Word of God.

Then sharpen your stakes, polish up those silver bullets and get to the business of monster slaying.

  1. We Christians have done this to ourselves. We stick our heads in the ground and say we are "praying". Instead, we have buried our rights and responsibilities instead of using them. To whom much has been given, much will be required.
