Ah, October…leaves change color, the air gets crisper, and, if you live in America (or the America-led West), the clarion call to war with Russia picks up pace and gets really loud.
So here we are in early October of 2016 and, just as surely as Pumpkin-flavored everything makes its annual assault on menus across “the land of the free” and the home of the NSA, the drumbeat leading us to war with Russia is pounding away.
The “evil Russians” are at it again!
They’re actually bombing ISIS!
They’re actually killing ISIS!
Right near their own land in a country that wants them there, no less!
We can’t have that!
So let’s get our military involved in “protecting the rebels in Syria” (*cough* *cough*…ISIS) from “the evil Russians” by taking on the Russians at their doorstep and toppling the Syrian government all in the name of peace, justice, and the American way.
Um, yeah…right…
Seems like a good time to take a chill pill and actually think critically about what’s going on here (again), doesn’t it?
So let’s take a sec to set aside what we may want to believe (and are encouraged to believe by the elites above us) about ourselves as a people and the purpose of things like a military, and instead take a cold, sober look at what we’ve really become and the ugly reality in which we live…and which we as Christians have been called and equipped by Christ to confront and correct in accordance with His Gospel-fueled Great Commission.
To that end, I offer the following for your prayerful, thoughtful consideration…
When the American Orwellian State isn’t floating the idea of drafting our daughters into an army with a lesbian general or commissioning a new naval vessel named after a legendary gay rapist, it’s often using its fiat funny money fueled, globe-spanning military tentacles to advance all manner of anti-Christian approaches to war and empire building, all with the blind adoration and support of the vast majority of professing conservative Christians in “the land of the free” and the home of the NSA, of course.
So with the “Hey, I have a great idea: Let’s go to war with Russia!” talk picking up pace again, it seems like a good time to re-share part of an article that we originally posted late last year entitled Begging For War (Again):
If there’s one thing ‘Merica will not tolerate, it’s Russians attacking our “moderate terrorist” allies…like al-Qaeda in Syria. (See: Russians Launch Plot to Kill Neo-Con GOP Senators…by way of Syrian Air Strikes.)
This aggression will not stand!
So when a Russian fighter was recently shot down by a Turkish F-16 and the subsequently parachuting Russian pilot was assassinated by American-supported “moderate terrorist” forces on the ground, we as good, patriotic, American State worshipping drones were all supposed to jump up and cheer. “Take that, Russia!” is s’posed to be our reflexive battlecry…and sadly, for many of us, it is. But as pesky things like “facts” and easily connected dots begin to emerge in the wake of recent events, more and more people are finally beginning to wake up to the fact that we are being played.
We are being manipulated into yet another war, and a potentially big one at that.
American Corporate/Statist coverage of the Russian jet and subsequent rescue helicopter shootings is quickly rocketing into the stratosphere of unhinged and quite unbelievable Statist propaganda.
Check out this bit from The Washington Times:
The U.S. military on Tuesday labeled as an “incursion” the Russian fighter jet that was shot down by Turkish aircraft over the Syria-Turkey border.
Army Col. Steve Warren, the top military spokesman in Baghdad, confirmed the Turk’s version of events in saying they repeatedly warned the two Russian SU-24 pilots to back off.
. . . Col. Warren has made no secret of the U.S.’s displeasure with Russian bombing campaign in Syria. They assert Mr. Putin is mostly bombing moderate rebel groups opposed to Mr. Assad and devoting little time to the Islamic State terror army.
Please make note of that phrase at the end there: “moderate rebel groups”.
Please also recall that in Modern American Empire speak, “moderate rebel groups” worthy of our support and aid include…al-Qaeda.
Yes, that al-Qaeda.
As we touched on earlier in Oops, we “accidentally” armed al Qaeda with anti-tank missiles…again…:
. . . the latest in a looooooong line of “accidental” US support for ISIS/al-Qaeda & Friends comes in the form of…a sweet (and quite useful!) supply of anti-tank missiles:
On September 30, just hours after a three star Russian general strolled into the US embassy in Baghdad and told the staff to inform Washington that Moscow would begin airstrikes in Syria “in one hour”, the Western media was alive with accusations that The Kremlin wasn’t targeting ISIS, but rather other, US and Saudi-backed rebel groups fighting Assad’s depleted SAA. Here’s what The Wall Street Journal said at the time:
“Among seven areas that Syrian state media listed as targets of Russian strikes, only one—an area east of the town of Salamiyah in Hama province—has a known presence of Islamic State fighters. The other areas listed are largely dominated by moderate rebel factions or Islamist groups, such as Ahrar al-Sham and the al Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front.”
Yes, “moderate rebel factions such as the al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front.”
Are you getting that, ‘Merican?
Are you paying any attention here?
Are those who tearfully/angrily sing along with Do You Remember? and relentlessly roar for bombing/invading here, there, and everywhere to “git them Muzlims!” paying any attention at all to reality…a reality in which al-Qaeda is, according to the precious American State, “moderate” and therefore worthy of our support?
Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the downing of the Russian fighter was “delivered by terrorism accomplices.”
And wasn’t it?
Dare we even consider that “the evil Russians” might be correct?
Is that possibility even allowed for in “the land of the free” and the home of the NSA?
What about the subsequent downing of a Russian rescue helicopter by an American TOW-missile equipped band of “moderate” al-Qaeda types?
Can you smell what we’re standing in?
Can you see where this is going?
It’s time to question not only the authority but the very nature of the NSA/CIA/TSA/IRS Corpo-State that is even now doing everything within its power to purposefully lead us into World War III.
That’s the sort of thing we were sharing here about a year ago.
Seems more than worthy of a re-share now.
