Wanna know where the long term embrace of a wildly unbiblical “lesser of two evils” approach to leadership selection leads?
Wanna know how easy it is for anti-Christian corporate/banking elites to steer us straight on into hard core Statism through their production, promotion, and control of The All-American Political Puppet Show?
Well there’s no need to wonder.
Just have a gander at the gaggle of “conservative” “Christian” “leaders” being paraded about for this season’s run of The All-American Political Puppet Show and all will be painfully revealed.
Last night we got a good look and listen to this season’s crop of Republican “conservative” “Christians” by way of a C-SPAN forum that included all presently announced GOP contenders with the exception of poll-dominating Donald Trump, who said that he wouldn’t attend the event because it “was not worth his time” (which probably only added to his lead in the polls).
Of course, things kicked off with The Pledge (See: The God of Government “Education”.)
There’s nothing like kicking off a good healthy dialogue on freedom, liberty, privacy, justice and the like after stopping on cue to pledge in lockstep our undying allegiance to the indivisible political power of the Almighty American State, am I right?
Nevermind that everything we know about the Founding Fathers – including how it is they became the Founding Fathers – tells us that they would never sign on to such a concept.
Nevermind that The Pledge of allegiance to the American State was written by a Socialist.
Nevermind any o’ that.
Here in “the land of the free” and the home of the (Republican enabled and adored) NSA, we’re happy and proud to sing about freedoms we’ve mostly lost, bravery we pretend to have, and the unquestionable and exceptional awesomeness of America (where we are “free” to openly worship any god we like, “free” to “marry” anyone we like, and “free” to murder our own children for convenience and profit in the name of liberty and our “right” to live life as selfishly as we like). (See: Note to ‘Merica: There is no “God-given right” to worship false gods. Repent accordingly.)
[insert “U! S! A!” chant here]
So yeah, The Pledge was the perfect way for this particular forum to start…and is was also pretty much the high point of the event.
The first GOP “leader” to speak was Rick Perry. You can imagine how inspiring that was.
One of the things Perry held up – as all top-tier Republican “leaders” do – is the importance of “fixing” or “improving” State-controlled schools in America.
You know, the State-crafted institutions founded on an approach to the pursuit of knowledge lifted directly from the serpent’s tongue in Eden.
Like in The Communist Manifesto. (See: Redeeming Children’s Education: Confronting Our Satanic Approach to the Pursuit of Knowledge.)
After Rick Santorum and John Kasich pitched their versions of “conservative” Statism, we got a heaping helping of the Neo-Connie Orwellian perpetual war insanity that is so wildly popular these days among Pagan (and Pagan influenced) American “conservatives”. (See: Problem>Reaction>Solution – Why we will beg to have our freedoms taken away and go to war forever.)
Then we got a sprinkle of New England-style Pagan Progressive Republicanism from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who explained how we need to “keep the promises” made through the blatantly Socialist systems upon which so many Americans have become dependent. (See also: Jeb! (not Bush) Launches Presidential Campaign with “Conservative” Case for the Welfare/Warfare Nanny State.)
Ben Carson was next to face the crowd, explaining that we can’t repeal ObamaCare without first replacing it with something else (from the Almighty State, obviously). Awesome!

On “legal” child sacrifice in America (abortion), Carson took the easy shot at Planned Parenthood State funding, while making it plain that “if someone is going to [get an abortion], let them take money out of their pocket [to do it]”. Way to take a stand against child sacrifice, Ben!
Next up was the latest Bush hankerin’ for a shot at leading us deeper into Statism in the name of “compassion” and Pagan “conservatism”. Jeb predictably pitched the same Orwellian perpetual war bilge as Graham, explaining how our supposedly broke selves have the obligation to keep on printing more Monopoly money in order to fund neverending war efforts here, there and everywhere, and on a grand, globe-dominating scale. He also talked about “fixing” the overtly Marxist/Socialist programs that he and his ilk have used to grow the power of the State by making the masses – including the “conservative” masses – increasingly dependent on the State. (See also: How Jeb Bush despises privacy and freedom for the masses…yet will still get millions of “conservative Christian” votes (and campaign contributions).)
After the latest Bush pitch for GOP Statism, we heard from Carly Fiorina, who talked about how we’ve been talking about all of this for too long and need to actually fix something. Her solutions so far? “Fixing” Statism, Republican style. You know, like Jeb Bush and pretty much everybody else who spoke.
This “Republican-style Socialism” idea was the entirely predictable theme of the evening.

Did even a single Republican “conservative” President wannabe discuss how they were going to get the State out of the business of molding the minds and worldviews of children?
Of course not.
Did a single solitary one of ’em describe how they would phase out the overtly Socialist Social Security program, which is designed to make people dependent on the State?
Um…no…
What about the Socialist Medicare program?
Nope.
Apparently, that’s a keeper, too. I’m sure they’ll “fix” it, though.
Maybe one of them advocated tackling the Marxist/Communist Manifesto fueled concept of property tax, by which we now coercively fund the equally Communistic concept of State-run children’s “education”? (See: Why home ownership will never be allowed in “the land of the free” and the home of the NSA.)
Nah.
Not. Gonna. Happen.
Not on these guys’ watch, anyway.
Republican representatives of the Pagan Political Right are not only uncommitted to eliminating these flagrantly Marxist/Statist programs. They are committed to preserving them.
Or “fixing” them, as they like to say.
You know, “making them work” using “conservative” principles and such. (See: How’s that Pagan “conservatism” workin’ out for ya, Christian?)
And why is this so?
Why are these Republicans just as sure to lead us deeper into anti-Christian Statism as their “opponents” on the Democrat side of the Corporate-owned stage?
Because the Pagan Political Right and Pagan Political Left are two wings of the same dragon.
So how are we going to combat these Statist advocates?
What are we actually going to do?
How are we going to turn the corner and gain ground against the very systems that these “conservative” Statists are out to “fix” and sustain forever?
Well, for starters, we need to stop looking to them for answers.
We need to stop obsessing over The All-American Political Puppet Show.
Oh sure, we can keep up with it and stay informed at a basic level, but we have to refuse to buy into this controlled, contrived political game.
We have to focus on our self-government. We have to be in the Word. We have to be people of the Word. We have to be thinking about the Nature of God as revealed in His Word and how it informs us as to what is true and good in law, politics, art, economics, civil government and everything else. We have to identify and personally repent of our past and present sins. We have to constantly strive to reform our personal behavior in a biblical manner. (See: Presuppositional Law: Where we begin with law determines where we end.)
We have to focus on our family-government. The primary target of the Statist is the biblical family. We must strive to live, work, pursue and apply knowledge in a Christ-centered manner. We have to build strong families who are not dependent upon anything that the State and Statists use to “help” people into bondage.
We must focus on our church-government. We have to be active, committed, submissive, serving members in a local body. We cannot expect to credibly critique, much less productively reform, a wildly wayward church in America if we are not personally willing to obey Christ and be involved in a local body of believers and submissive to local church leadership. Only through biblical submission and participation in the local body of Christ can we hope to productively reform the church from its present weak and pathetic condition into a true force for the Gospel-fueled Great Commission in our lives, homes, communities and culture.
After these steps are taken and pursued by the grace of God, then we will be well positioned to influence our communities and local civil governments in an explicitly Christ-centered manner.
This culture is absolutely, positively not going to be saved from the top-down by electing the “least of all evil” Pagan Political Left or Right “leaders” again.
Statism enslaves, conquers and kills from the top down, and it’s happy to do so using any party, flag or brand of patriotism necessary.
In infinite contrast, the Gospel-fueled Great Commission truly transforms people, families, communities and cultures by the grace of God through His faithful people’s pursuit, proclamation and application of His Nature as revealed in His Word. (See: Jesus Conquers Everything.)
It is supernatural.
It cannot fail…because He cannot fail.
It is our only true hope to not only slow or even stop the advance of Statism, but to drive it from the field of battle in a route…which is precisely why this Gospel-fueled Great Commission plays no role in any of the “answers” and “solutions” offered by this latest wave of political puppets being paraded about.
Think about that.
Pray about it.
Then consider questions like: What would happen if Christians just said no to American Statism? and What if America had as many Christians as it does gay activists?
