First off, let me say what Fire Breathing Christian is not, or more accurately, who it is not. Fire Breathing Christian is not about me (the site's creator) or any other individual in the exclusive sense. 

The Fire Breathing Christian concept as I hope to convey it here is one which applies to each and every single individual biblically submissive Christian believer (sounds redundant, I know, but these days ya can't be too sure). The Fire Breathing Christian is, or should be, every homemaker, truck driver, corporate executive, writer, thinker...anyone who has been claimed by the Holy Spirit and, as a result, actively seeks to submit to the perfect Word of God in all areas of life.

This includes what we eat, what we watch, how we think, what we do, and even how we vote...everything is covered. The Christian worldview is all-encompassing.

This is a tall order, I know, and I certainly fail to meet these most lofty of standards on a daily, even hourly, basis. I expect that you experience similar failings, yet we must always strive to improve, and the beauty of it all is that as Christians we are empowered  and equipped by the Holy Spirit to do so.

How cool is that?

As Christians, we are commanded by our sovereign Lord to love Him with all of our heart, mind and spirit. When we submit to His will in all things, we find the only true path to genuine peace, happiness and fulfillment.

It is my hope that the Lord will use this site to encourage and empower every Common Believer to do just that.
